The Crystal (Basket)ball
The Celtics list (on IGTC.com) has an annual ritual of predicting the number of wins the Celtics will have at the start of each season, accompanied by much wailing, gnashing of teeth, and general zaniness as the various listmembers wonder what planet the others came from.  Thanks to Rich Davies for providing the lists of previous seasons.  Thanks also go to Rich--as well as Theresa Lee--for their work in compiling and maintaining the lists in previous years.  These are taken directly from e-mail, and at that time, some people were uniquely known by one name, or screen name.  In addition, some people have come and gone from the list over the last few years, or changed their names/screen names, so I'm listing each season's predictions individually, and using their name exactly as it appeared on the list each year. 

With the dual membership of many people--myself included--on both the IGTC list and the CelticsStuff group at Yahoo, it seemed unfair to exclude a relatively small number of people, so as of the 2003-04 season, all members of both lists who were interested sent predictions in to what will be henceforth known as the CBW predictions list.  Thanks to Paul Moriarty, Listowner of the IGTC group; and Jim Metz, Listowner of the  Celtics Stuff group; for their input, and their support.  If you would like to participate, I highly recommend both lists.

After each game, where needed, I'll update who's still in the running.  Apparently, some people thought my comments  were funny.  Their names have been changed to protect them from those who thought otherwise.  :>)

Keeping their "Kool" while giving Aid
The folks over at www.celticsstufflive.com started their own predictions list when nobody was sure I'd be around to keep doing this myself in 2006.  For the 2006-07 season ONLY, everyone who listed their prediction either on CSL or here at the CBW were automatically listed on BOTH!  With a record 237 people making their prognostications, it was a shocker when the end of the season produced NO WINNER!  After that season, CSL and the CBW once more went their separate ways, with many new friends made.

Those of you reading this who aren't on any of the mailing lists are encouraged to join.  They're oodles of fun!
